What is The Parity Stripe? It’s a play on “Charity Stripe”. Get it? Do you? Huh? Do you? Haha. Haha. I knew you’d get it.

If you haven’t gotten it yet, this site is a place where a couple of LA Laker, NBA, and general sports fans can express their factual opinions in a very, very serious manner. Anything from trade rumors to stories from on or off the court/field/pitch/track/rink may be addressed. And occationally, discussions on food may arise. While there may be a focus on SoCal teams, any team from any sport from anywhere in the world is fair game.

All that being said, we aim to have fun with what we share. Though sports are typically about winning and losing, at their core sports bring us together for competition and enjoyment. No matter the sport or nationality, the culture of sports unifies us all.

In that respect, we’re all similar. We all love sports, we all love the competition, and we all want the chance to take a free shot to get our opinions out there.
